The first myth of choice is nothing more than an attempt by the big boys to stop the SaaS movement before it is too late. The truth is, it is too late already for these vendors; at least it is too late to own the market, except by purchase.<br><br>The second myth, I have issues with. In 2007, Gartner predicts that Integration is the number one issue facing companies implementing any enterprise system especially CRM.<br><br>Customers want integrated solutions, but not necessarily from the same vendor.<br><br>CRM vendors must think about providing the means to create enterprise mashups easily and cost-effectively, and for that very reason, the SaaS vendors such as Salesforce.com, Netsuite.com, Salesboom.com and RightNow.com are on the right track.<br><br>Most these vendors hav web services APIs, Integration modules for SAP, ORACLE, Quickbooks, Dynamics, etc.Tom Stefanohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07561295637630614200noreply@blogger.com
